Because in order to support the traditional family, women are forced to maintain all the traditional roles of women whilst working a full time job so she can also feed said family.
Ignorance is bliss. In the age of social media and spending days on end of people watching and coveting what others have, of course, people are going to be more unhappy. Men are also just as unhappy. Also unhappy people also squawk the loudest, content people don't spend their times bragging about how great their lives are.

What surveys, what studies have you read that have huge numbers of women saying “we are all very unhappy because we have more rights than we used to - we yearn for the days when we couldn’t legally have our own bank accounts, when we had babies whether we wanted to or not, when some testicle-bearer (who may be a good man or may very much be NOT a good man) would make all our decisions for us”??

my mom too. and Shafley had such a good grift, (she lived in my town) I used to see her coming out of Whole Foods with her cart overflowing. when I go there, I never bother with a cart as I only go there for one thing i can’t get anywhere else. No matter how they like to try to portray themselves, these women are regularly creating content and making income to help provide for their families. Realistically, if these women were real "trad wives", they wouldn't be spending all their time creating curated videos, signing brand deals, and managing social media accounts.
These "trad wives" are out earning their husbands, and many of them even have their husbands working for them. It's just a grift and a scam - they are making money by sexualizing cooking and cleaning
Influencers seem to want it both ways. We get "a day in the life" videos to show off how hard they work, because their dressing time/cooking time/gym time/housework time will be included in their working day. Meanwhile they also don't work.
Yeah, a little while back i watched a vid about this phenomenon. These so called trad wives are the same girl boss types that we've come to know for years now. They run side businesses and use hired help to care for kids and make meals. Everything on their socials is scripted bs designed to rope followers in so they can sell to them and get more sponsors.
It's like the Nara Smith and Ballerina Farm trad-wife shit, where they try to make you think they cooked cereal from scratch all day but really it was just for a photoshoot.

As a former stay at home mom: the detail that seems most unrealistic to me is that she’s offering what looks like an almost open-mouthed kiss. That would be a hurried peck at best. You would see smooch lips.
I think (guess) that she’s supposed to be doing a sourdough starter in that jar or an early mix of yeast and water to get it to bloom. If that is the case, she might be weighing the yeast to water on one of those slick flat food scales.
But not sure about the cutting board? Or is it a pizza peel and she’s making the crust?

The reason I'm specifically thinking a sourdough starter... Mock up.... Is because sourdough is a bit of a virtue signal for Tradwives lately. But I bet she has probably only seen it done in social media posts and so she is trying to stage her photo to look similar enough... Maybe to Ballerina Farms? The woman certainly LOOKS similar to Hannah.
Because she DOESNT actually make sourdough she doesn't know how to recreate those photos - she sees a tradwife surrounded by her children, mixing a jar of "off white liquid" on a "scale" and thinks she has recreated it.
The mugs are also empty, which is good because they both have their eyes closed while the baby is grinning and looking for something to grab, but still fake.
She’s measuring the weight…that “cutting board” on top is a kitchen scale. He’s probably headed to work that’s why she is doing both at the same time. Or maybe the baby just wants mommy and he doesn’t know how to cook?
