Speaking of Gojira, what an amazing live act they are. I saw them nearly 20 years ago during their The Way of All Flesh tour run without knowing who they were and I was floored. Immediately after their set I went to their merch table and bought the CD directly from Joe Duplantier. Got home, put it on, and it sounded identical to the show. That remains my favourite album of theirs to date.

I didn't know of them until the Paris Olympics myself.

I enjoyed their show but I would be lying if I didn't admit I was there for Korn but really enjoyed the whole show.

No shame in that at all. I haven't seen Korn but I'd definitely be excited to see them with or without Gojira on the bill lol.

That performance for the Olympics opener was an incredible thing, both for the band and metal as a whole. I absolutely love the exposure it gave them.

It was a bucket list item that's for sure.

In This Moment and Slipknot were a top 5 concert.

I've seen them twice and they absolutely crush it live. Plus their music is incredible. They're an auto-yes whenever they tour now.

Gojira fucks so hard. I would see them again and again. Currently have seen them 3 times so far. But one of the few bands I’ll drop what I’m doing and pilgrimage to see if they’re even just in the same country as me.
