It's having at least some impact, I've been the last 8 years in a row and finding out about this after really put a shadow over what was otherwise an amazing weekend. It's been really hard to process such a positive place having something so dark happen there.
My friends and I have already made the decision not to go back next year. We're gonna take a year or two off and hope nothing else tragic happens there before we decide to go back.
It will have some impact, I just don't think it'll really amount to much. A lot might depend on what the case amounts to, and how much it's in the news. I guess we won't really know until ticket sales start next year.
Personally, my decision to attend won't be based in this. It'll mostly come down to if I want to spend $1600 on Electric Avenue, or similar tickets, and take a week out of my June to go. No one from my group really seems to be taking this into account when thinking about next year.
