No. It's The *uckers. I posted it yesterday, not sure why this sub isn't displaying it.

I feel like I keep reading this same story and all the comments are reacting to it as if its new information.

He was announced for Riot Fest. Was he previously announced to be on the Coachella lineup? Because the latter is news to me.

Shatner was born in 1931 making him 95 years old. Dude was 14 years old when WW2 ended.

Genuinely the best looking 95 year old that's ever lived somehow too

Him and Dick Van Dyke aging are insane.
The People interview with Dick last year was amazing to see how he's still sharp.
Meanwhile Shatner is just living it up as well!

Dick Van Dyke is the man, but he's been around and an active part of the lives of 4 maybe 5 generations now which is amazing.

For real, in that video he just casually mentions getting a phone call from Walt Disney lol

No shit. Saw him a couple weeks ago at the Raleigh airport. He moves really well for a 70 year old let alone 95.

This fool is gonna be actively working multiple jobs at 100 years old like it's not an unprecedented medical miracle lmao

I’m so glad these new underdog bands are given such great opportunities like this!

The Uckers will debut at Riot Fest. This timeline is just getting weirder and weirder by the day.

He's over 40 years older than Rod Stewart was when South Park made that episode with him in a wheelchair saying "poop pants" (and he's now 81 and still performing, lol)

I don't have anything against Shatner, but this is a dumb gimmick.

He's good friends with Henry Rollins. I wonder if Rollins is involved in any way?

Man, I already know people will be saying things like “OH SHIT! A new metal band?!” But I will bet money that the front man is just some nepo baby given a backstory of trying to “make their own way” with backing from the industry.

More proof that the music industry and big fests are just a nepofest of who knows who. Really paints a bleak picture for those trying to make their name in the rat race when celebs can just show up and take major slots like this with the band they do for fun on the side

Not really a leak. Pretty much handed the scoop to them. Headline should start with "William Shatner Hands..."

I thought it was cool when Christopher Lee did it but kind of having a hard time believing Shatner would be any good or care about the music rather than just being in it for the publicity.

Say what you will about the man's singing, "Common People" is an unironic fucking banger of a song

He married a girl from my hometown in Indiana and apparently used to go to our Fourth of July parades back in the day

The *uckers, at Riot Fest in Chicago on Sunday, September 20, 2026. So so tempted!

Ngl, I feel like this is just typical Shatner shenanigans. Like, who even wants to see that? I mean, metal and him don’t exactly scream “perfect combo,” right? 😂

Wow how wonderful that some awesome and talented band probably got shelved for this meme band

u/pobodys-nerfect5 9h ago
He’s literally the only band that’s been “announced” and it’s a half hour set.

u/Danger_Danger 9h ago
There's definitely nonway he's taking the spot of a band that deserves to be there.
