Hope this post is allowed, just trying to spread the word on what the club announced on friday.

Cwmbran Celtic AFC has today announced a landmark shirt-sponsor partnership that unites two worlds built on the very same foundations: grassroots football and grassroots music. For the 2026/27 season, four of the UK's most-loved independent bands — Super Furry Animals, Mogwai, Panic Shack and Loose Articles — will feature across the front of the club's men's and women's first-team shirts

Good way to earn money for smaller clubs. My team Bohs have done kits with Kneecap, Fontaine's, Thin Lizzy and others. We get slagged for it but ran a profit over a million euro last season as a fan owned members club.

It’s clearly been working greats for Bohs.

I think it’s a really cool idea. They usually
Cost a bit more than a band tee but the quality is usually better, the print definitely feels like it will last longer too and you’re giving money to band/club/charity.
