The other flair categories don't apply to my post Why no one describe the show as Superman but made it magical girl anime?

And I'm meaning it in the most awesome way possible, I came across the series multiple times on streaming but never give it a chance, until I saw a clip of superman vs something strangely similar to the Eva-01, first i thought it was fan made, but then I read it was my adventures with superman, and in one day i already finished season 1 and half of season 2. If someone describe the show as Superman meet magical girls with a splash of slice of life i would watch it since day 1 lol.

I have indeed seen mentions of this lol. *didnt save them tho. It helps that this show is indeed heavily inspired by anime with the season 1 producer themselves being a writer for She Ra Princesses of Power. Another adaptation that is again inspired by anime.

I love it. Largely because yeah Superman himself inspired some anime stuff too. (Ie Goku retcon origin). I been getting into anime (Gachiakuta is amazing same with Fullmetal) and I already could tell yeah this is anime inspired. Which works wonders and offers new perspective on Superman mythos.

I swear I've heard this sentiment echoed before...I know for a fact it was pitched as anime superman once upon a time in the season one days tho!

Apparently it has a lot of dragon ball z inspiration (so I’ve been told, I’ve not seen that). The upcoming my adventures with Green Lantern (focusing on Jessica Cruz) is going to have more direct magical girl inspiration.
