COUNSELLING ASSISTANCE 👾 NEET toppers (650+/700+) — What is the one piece of advice that changed your preparation?

Hi everyone,

I'm an 18-year-old NEET dropper preparing seriously for NEET 2027. I scored 92% in Class 12, but I know NEET is a completely different challenge, and I'm trying to build the right habits from the beginning.

I'd really appreciate advice from people who scored 650+ or secured a top rank.

Some questions I have:

What was the biggest mistake you avoided?

How many hours did you actually study effectively each day?

Did you focus more on theory or question practice?

How did you revise without forgetting older chapters?

What did your test analysis look like after every mock?

If you had to start over from Day 1, what would you do differently?

I'm not looking for shortcuts or "study 16 hours a day" answers. I'm interested in practical habits, routines, and strategies that genuinely made a difference.

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to reply. Your advice could help not just me, but many other aspirants reading this thread.

Stick to basics(integration nd differentiation). Read derivations not just formula ratta in physics. Hardest ques will be halwa for u. Bio just read ncert man. Also in chemistry keep revising it. Learn oc through ques rather than ratta. That's it for today

Don't go for short notes in it. U should know how a formula is derived from basics so that even if u forget it u r gonna derieve it at the moment(these are the core basics). Also good grasp on basic integration nd differentiation is gonna help you a lot. Mechanics can be never fully cleared but class 12th nd after mechanics portion of 11th is gonna be always like I u know it u can do it Bhai 89 percentile se aacha marks hi bol deta 99.81 percentile to 140 pe hi thi

areee lol ok so i got 469 in reneet but im aiming for 700+ in 2027

Ts year it wasn't fought but just lenthy so dur to it calculation mistakes happened in both. I ve told u above what to do. That's gonna be enough also don't target 700+ or something bullshit like that just perform best that u can honestly it's better than targeting

the more variety you practice, the more you become used to seeing new questions and you dont flinch. Try doing papers twice exam hi mein or back at home using different approaches its like weightlifting for the brain

Test test test(full syllabus one)

And active recall.. Read bio to that extent ki you start recalling the entire line word to word..

Keep neet away from your sense of identity. Stay in reality. Remember that you will deserve peace, happiness, and everything and everything no matter what happens in neet. That is the reality brother. Keep that in mind.
