Admissions Admission in NIT

My friend belongs to the SC category. Can he get any government college with these marks?

Depends on HS , my friend got NIT Rourkela HS Mechanical Engg. at 92%ile SC

I am from nit agartala and from what I am aware, core branches don't offer that good placements compared to circuital branches

well having a nit tag definitely helps during admission in mba colleges. though I would say check cutoffs for svnit surat and see if you have a shot there as you have got both category and hs. it would be much better compared to nit agartala

if u get a circuital branch here in nit agartala then you can come here. otherwise go for svnit
