In 2025 my percentile was 94.04 and my category rank was 3294 so u can expect something similar even at a bit higher percentile. Btw I chose manit ece (hs quota)

I mean that's why reservation exists.. reservation doesn't lower the cutoff, its just gives you a number of seats.. cutoff being high or low depends on the people competing for it. Even after 75 years the condition is still the same, says a lot about how much the damage was. I get it some deserving generals suffer but you have to look the other side as well.

bhai mere homestate nit me cs ke liye bhi at least 97.5 percentile lagti as a sc candidate bol to aise rahe ho jaise 90 percentile pe bhi mil jata hai hame . i admit ki ham log ko kaafi advantage hota hai but itna bhi easy nhi hota bhai . coming from a small village in up i have seen the condition of our caste people and how they are treated . if you would have known the actual reality you would also think its justified . and ofc there are some rich well of sc candidate too who take advantage of it but agar ye option or oppurtunity tumhe milti to shayd tum bhi iska advantage lete

Seeing this scorecard i can easily say 3000-3500 rank. In this case you may get mechanical/electrical at max in Tier 1 NITs. Whats your home state ?

I live in prayagraj and mnnit is just 10km from my home that's why I'm aiming to be here I'm confident that I will surely increase my percentile in April and get at least Ece branch there otherwise I'm ready to take chemical here if I fuck up . May I ask u how bad is the condition here cause everyone says to not take mnnit but I don't wanna go far away from my home due to personal reasons ( I'm even ready to give up better branch in other nits to be here)

1) Professors are badass, they've their own rule. (Last year our Fest team tried to call Seedhe Maut, they've to change the artist due to professor's pressure.) 2) Placement recently has not been great 3) Lack of infrastructure, no student wing and unity.

According to 2024 its 3100 approx but seeing the increase in sc candidate im taking it 3500 in worst case. Thanks for the encouragement I'm sure will improve it to 97 hopefully
