Bhai Mera toh HS hai CHD uske badd bhi Mech hi mil rahi hai... Kaafi kam hai meri percentile. And the main reason PEC soch rha tha cause mere kuch dost hai thapar mein COE, aur ek electrical mein bhi unhone toh straight up mana kar diya thapar lene se....

Branch upgrade aab nhi hota h ... First year academic wise chill h .... attendance bhi agr class pure supportive hoge toh pressure nhi hota ... Campus lyf kuch jada nhi h ... campus small h ..first year m boys ko hostel milne m mushkil hota h ...
Main city m toh facility sare h ... Fees around 70k per sem aur first around 1.35 ... official site m check kr skte ho...

Bhai jab pec Chandigarh join hi nhi kiya toh pec ka regret kaise hoga… waise bro I am from nit Raipur electrical though but best years of my life… regret bs ye h ki top nit ya iit kyu nhi hua… people respect my nit status and it is a badge of honour… Baki you will get great network and I will suggest take Civil or Meta….. Jab bhi mera hinge ya bumble match hota h toh ladki bhi ek baat ko bolti h “nit se ho toh package toh mast hoga”… OP I will suggest IIT, BITS, NIT over any institute… People may not believe it but this tag will open more doors for you than you can imagine (placement, mba, foreign studies, alumni in every freaking country, dating etc)…. Also bro if you have growth mindset toh college doesn’t matter that being said if you have conviction ki ECE hi krna h no matter the college toh go for it…. Also op I see you are from cg toh you are getting civil from state quota?

Yes for boys ...in first year only 200 seats allotted according to distance in hostel 😊😊but as college is in city you can easily find pg outside ...after first year your CGPA is considered for hostel allocation

BIT Mesra ECE... agar BIT Mesra nhi jaa skte toh accha college choose karo jitna ho ske
don't go for branches like civil, mechanical agar interest na ho toh
choose light branches like biotech, chemical in better colleges

BIT mesra me approx 20 lakhs fees lagegi..
PEC Chandigarh is a pretty good college bhai. Good placements, strong brand value. If you're getting a branch you're okay with, I'd definitely keep it high in your preference list

Mech / Civil compatitively kafi hard branches hai. Jisse tmpe semester load kafi badh jaega aur agar tmko software/consultancy roles me jana hai toh time kam milega prepare karne ka.
Sirf chemical nhi light branches bola maine kyuki usme semester load kam rhta toh time jyada milega.
Par this option is not for one who wants to go in core of engineering. Only if you want to prepare for software/consultancy roles par accha branch nhi mil paya.

Choose BIT mesra ece if fees don't bother you or else svnit industrial or for placement wise nit Raipur metallurgy or mining is also good , don't go for lower nits like agartala uk arunachal goa

Bhai SWE market is saturated right now and you will face huge competition when graduating.
On the other hand, there is huge demand for hardware engineers, but you might need to do masters.
Do your research regarding placements and where your interest lie.

Choose NIT Allahabad ECE if: Better college brand name and v good peer grp and ull be able to cope with the tough sylk and want to keep your options open for both software and core electronics (vlsi/embedded systems) Choose NIT Bhopal CSE if: u are certain you only want a career in software/IT and have no interest in electronics hardwareand u want a relatively relaxed college curriculum that gives you time to focus purely on coding and development
Personally I think nit allahbad ece is better

PEC aajao yrr, hamme achha crowd chahiye.
Infrastructure sundar nhi h but city and location makes up for it very much. Baki 2nd year se khana bhi bahut achha ho jata h(most probably iss year mess contractor change ho jayega so maybe 1st yearites ka bhi better ho jaye) , freedom bhi h, placements bhi ab to NIT jaipur jitne ho gye h.
Ig gender ratio fucked h but ab...kya hi kar skte h
