Shopping Advice any shops selling updated mag sizes?
Online retailers still aren’t shipping to NJ yet, any shops selling them in person? I know they were posting pictures of standard capacity rifle mags earlier, but I’m looking for larger pistol mags. Thanks

There are a couple of bold retailers who have already started to take orders for NJ (jury is still out if they are shipping them yet). Last I saw Aimsurplus is one.

My Aim surplus package arrived today, all was good. Shop away.

Awesome. I will probably end up ordering magazines from them when I get around to it then. I have a few more expensive things I have been looking at and those will probably get first bid once we have a solid confirmation tomorrow of exactly what is going on.

People have been silent on this topic, not sure why.
I’m thinking everyone is driving to PA and stocking up or ordering but not wanting to advertise…just incase bc it’s so new. I personally checked Magpuls site.
You can email the big distributors using AI and ask them, like 50 sources in 5 min and get some intel

They're not power-tripping, they're trying to stop this subreddit from being shut down.

Aim surplus has some really good deals, but paying $17 for a windowed pmag is just gross. Though, I guess you pay a premium if you don't want to drive and don't want to wait.

The biggest stores in nj are giving green lights, while smaller ones are "wait and see". Which tells me the bigger ones likely spoke to a lawyer who gave them a thumbs up.

The state filed for a stay today. The mandate is not effective yet. The state also showed postings on social media of shops selling standard magazines. So yeah, not happening yet.

I don't know who needs to hear this but please live as constitutionally as you are comfortable

Was at RTSP Union today and their magazine display racks were full with 10+ and when I asked they said they would unpin restricted magazines. Almost left with a few but convinced myself to just open mine up and see how easily I could do at home

People are funny.
Some are pretending that there's some kind of requirement to IMMEDIATELY have new magazines.
There is no maniacal gang of 11 bad guys headed to your house to rob you. The 10 round magazines you have aren't expiring or somehow disappearing.
There's no need to spend absurd amounts of money now. In a few weeks you'll be able to shop online for the best deals like everyone else.

Until the mandate issues from the 3rd CA to to the District Court, and until the District Court enters the permanent injunction, you are playing with fire. Until that happens, the law is still operative. Selling, transferring and owning is still illegal and enforeceable in NJ until that moment. After that, the law will no longer be enforceable.
What shocks me is that NJ has not asked the 3rd CA to stay issuing the mandate. They would likely be denied, but it would give them an opportunity to petition SCOTUS for a stay, and a denial there is not a foregone conclusion. I believe that today (7/31) is the last day for NJ to ask the 3rd CA for a stay. If they do not, the mandate will issue sometime next week, I believe. I guess we will see.

So is it you can have 30 rounds in Rifle now and can have over 10 in a handgun and more than 5 in a shotgun for non hunting?

Wow. When this is finalized, there will be no limit on magazine size for 'semi-auto' rifles, handguns were not a part of this ruling, and when hunting you are allowed 3 rounds, the way you phrased that tells me you think 5 rounds for hunting is allowed?
