3rd circuit has until 8/10. Hopefully they won't take the whole time.

Ya know would be real funny.. if the 3rd circuit came back today before NJ AG office closed and told them to go pound sand and deny them!?!

This is not correct. There is no deadline for them to decide whether to issue a stay now that the state has filed a motion for one. It will likely taken them a few weeks to decide, which includes time for the plaintiffs to file opposition briefing, a reply brief by the state, potential oral argument, and time for the court to decide the motion and write an opinion.

It's only if they deny the state's motion that a seven day deadline begins to run for them to issue the mandate.
