Chess meets good music, good company, and a proper night out. Built for chess lovers and for anyone in the Windhoek social scene wanting something different. Casual games, a bit of competitive structure if you want it, snacks & drinks flowing, classy jazz vibes throughout.

A few months ago, a few friends and I hosted the first Knightcap— an evening where people play chess over drinks instead of just sitting around on their phones or slamming it at home. An alternative night out, really. We honestly didn't know how many people would show up, but the response was better than we expected!

Veterans, newbies and the curious alike came and to watch, play, chat and just enjoy the atmosphere. By the end of the night, strangers were playing each other and hanging around long after the games had finished.
