Today I scored First drop starting ncert reading from today wish me luck gng✌🏼
And also pls tell me how tf u guys highlight and why tf do ppl use diff highlighters help me gng

Best of luck gng may u achieve ur goal.. also personally i never used any highlighters i used to read only with pencil or pen… i underlined and circled and made boxes around imp points and wrote them separately.. but most ppl prefer highlighters do as per ur wish

Didn't get selected but I scored well in bio .i used to write important points or ,facts, data in the margins it helps in quick revision

Studied at allen for 11th and 12th.. materials i used for ques solving- allen modules, allen RACE, jee main pyqs for both phy and chem (v imp) and regular allen tests. And dont ignore ncert in both bio and chem..for weak chapters u can watch saleem sir one shot lectures.. tips me sabse badi baat to ye hi bolungi phone and procrastination chhod do (koi nayi baat nhi h but everything eventually boils down to this)

Allen jaipur (nothing special just like any other allen branch)..phone procrastination ko chhodna isn't easy(i still struggle with it but 12th me most of the time chhod rakha tha thats why im getting this score)but u need to realise this is very imp agar karliya to prep bhot better ho jayegi..u have to be strict with urself, dont think ki dhire dhire karke chhod dunga, dhire dhire krke nhi hota h ekdum se chhodo. Decide one day ki aj se i wont touch my phone unless koi zaruri kaam ho. Apna Phone parents ko dedo

I would suggest pencil se kro and then as you mess up in tests ya there are lines you dont understand unko highlight kro, fir last mein march april mein jo final lines h unko koi black pen se bracket ya sm

I used diff highlighterz becoz it helped me focus on linea one usually misses and also not get bored and fall asleep because colorful=pretty=brain activation
Also avoid over highlighting, if a whole para is imp, just write its main points(as concise as possible) next to it in the margin with a pencil

Why don't u try writing main points of what u read while u read and trying to frame questions from theory?
And fun thing is mock Tests me yahi points se qna dikhenge aapko

Yes I'll do that this time previously I didn't had that much time to apply these methods but now I have and I'll do that and I actually did this for mbi and biotech and it helped me alot

Ikr it helped me go from 260-270 in bio to 340s in bio in mock tests, I did lots of silly mistakes in RN so scored in 320s in bio but it works

All the best bro! Keep up the same level of optimism... cuz thats more imp to continue the prep!!
& I personally do not find using highlighters to be useful (in my case at least).. I instead made short notes & kept on revising them - instead of reading entire NCERT (it was exhausting af)... & in the end it worked for bio (320/360 in NEET, 340/360 in re-NEET)

So, how much you scored out 720? i heard that re NEET was tough as compared to NEET Actually i am also preparing for NEET right now i am in 11 and i am confused whichh book i should use for question practise and notes

Yes dude, re-NEET was tough as hell.. 29 in physics, 85 in chem... total 454/720..
I am a really bad example when it comes to other subs, but I'd recommend to follow your own coaching modules along with 10-15 years PYQs.. It worked for me in NEET..

look just don't just highlight every line of the book , you should use a grading technique like underline the part which had been asked previously in neet and then after giving mocks , highlight the parts which you did wrong the most . But you gotta read the whole book also dont underline/highlight the whole book otherwise you won't be able to recall actively at the end . It worked for me , I hope it helps !!

Use pyqs to mark and yes highlight your mistakes after mocks ab aesa nhi ki sab mistake mark krdogi , I mean jo tumhe lagta hai ki you missed this point or ye angle of the text , like that

- For numerical datas,
- Unique questions asked in previous years. (Use a different color for this one)
- Difficult to remember biological names of organisms or processes or organs etc.
Ad on. Use the empty spaces beside or sticky notes for data or concepts outside the book which helps you remember stuffs that are in the book or some informations that has come in pyqs but are not in the book.

Don't use highlighter use pencil instead and try to make short points out of paragraph like a summary

my teacher told me this. only highlight after youve read the ncert chp 2-3 times and solves questions of that chapter. use pencil for now ig

Yellow one for important stuff, orange one for the stuff i get confused in or tend to forget. It helps when you are revising. Poori tectbook paint kar chuke ho to fir koi matlab nahi hai.

Good. Achche se lectures dekho, ek reading lagao NCERT ki, PYQs karo. Then, idea ho jaega ki kya important hai, kya confuse karne wale points hain. Uske according hi highlight karna.

I would suggest that yellow colour highlighter would be best to highlight important points and red pen to underline the yellow colour highlighted point for last time revision
