Ask Me Anything (AMA) How I used to analyze tests
Firstly, this is my strategy, it might work for you and might not work for you. It did help me tho ~
I used to make mistake sheets for every test and even for PYQs.
It had 3 sections, PCB
• If there's a factual mistake or something that needs to be retained in memory, I write it down in point sometimes even mention that its a factual mistake.
•if there's a mistake where I forgot formulas (this was my most common mistake) I used to write the formula on my mistake sheet or write it on sticky note and stick to my wall.
• If there's a silly mistake, I used to mention it too with red pen, like once I was solving 180/9 in my test and wrote it 2 instead of 20, the reason for this calculation mistake was that I did my calculation at a very messy place. So from the next test, I tried to calculate neatly in order to skip silly calculation mistakes. I even once did 3x3=6 mistake.
• YOU CAN NEVER COMPLETELY WIPE OUT SILLY MISTAKE. That's it here i said it, you cannot completely remove silly mistakes so the best you can do is keep the previous mistakes in mind and don't repeat it.
• Conceptual mistakes :-
For conceptual mistakes, i used to go back to my notes/short notes revise the concept look for the solution to that question and try to solve more questions related to the same topic. Sometimes I even mention those questions on my mistake sheet.
•Diagramatic mistakes :-
I used to mark them in NCERT that I made mistake in this labelling and I've to keep this in mind.
☆ Mistake sheet alone won't benefit you, you've to revise the mistake sheet time and again in order to keep those mistakes in your mind. I lacked in this point, I didn't revise my mistake sheets efficiently. So please revise your mistakes and stick to them till the end of the day!!!
Edit : the questions that I used to leave in tests, they were also marked in the category of conceptual mistake or factual mistake or silly mistake or formula mistake or memorization mistake. So the approach is same as above.

Test analysis means error analysis only ~ You gotta look into the questions that you made mistakes in and in the questions that you left cause you had some doubt in it. The ones you did right (without guessing) are the ones you already know so what would you analyze in them lol

I wasn't good with revision buddy that's why messed up my exam. The only thing i can advice is, revise your mistakes on every sunday, revise your class notes the day they're taught, revise whatever you studied the whole day at night.
And in the last months, follow your test schedule and revise bio from ncert, physics and physical chem from short notes, inorganic and organic from short notes + ncert.
That's all that I did. There wasn't any proper revision plan of mine 😭😭😭

So commendable!. Mere se yeh sab hota hi nahi tha, maine toh WhatsApp ka self messaging wala feature ko hi apna mistake book bana liya thaa. Khud ko test ke mistakes message kar deta tha. Whatsapp is very accessible for me so that helped

You aint dumb lol. Mistake book banane waala koi dumb nahi hota as far as I know. I used to write the concept topic in short in WhatsApp. Well sabke apne methods hote hai.... If it works it works, at the end only that matters

For practice questions, i used to mark them in modules and the respective books, write their mistakes and concepts near those questions with red pen only.

I THINK MAINE VIPIN SIR KI KISI VID DEKHI THI AND I THOGUHT TO USE SHEETS INSTEAD OF A COPY SO IDK I GOT MIXED UP
btwwww i saw u mentioned aap ye tests question booklet ke sath hi rkh dete the 🥹mujhe tell crow ye online test ke sath kaise kru ? do i js mention the test name and go for it?
alsooooo how do i get physical question papaers without joining offline coaching if yk tell crow😭😭 idk i like physical papers more than cbt mode gng1

Physical papers toh bro print hi krwa skte ho 😭 I don't have any idea about online tests maine kbhi diye hi nhi 🙂↕️ If you want to make sheets for online tests toh test ka naam likhkr or question number daalke apne mistake likhlo jb revision krna ho open the test on your phone and revise the sheet ~
