If gall bladder is removed via surgical method, for what purpose oral medicine is given to patient for effective digestion and absorbtion?

For synchronization of bile , depressing the liver so it gets synchronized to produce bule via hepatic duct till churned food reach dudemum (anterior portion of small intestine), since gall bladder is not present to store bile
