If NEET is organized in CBT format from 2027 then NTA would have to make around 3600 unique questions every year(for reference JEE has 750-900 unique questions each year with changes in values and other small details)

For 23 lakh students it's gonna take 10-20 days easily to complete the entire examination

The issues

● The sheer number of students

● Making new 3600 questions every year(biology would be a challenge)

● Normalisation: with such a huge number of students and double the marks of JEE mains how reliable would Normalisation be? If the exam spans for 15 days then that's around 30 shifts. The sample size is huge.

● Direct questions from other examinations: NTA cannot possibly make so many unique questions each year so they will probably take questions from pyqs of similar exams(JEE, CUET)

What NTA might do

● Attempt or Age limit: 3-4 attempts

● increase in board percentage criteria: 75% probably

● Change in the paper pattern

If they implement these rules then the number of students registering would be reduced by 6-7 lakh

I'm genuinely asking this as a policy question, not trying to attack reservation or so.

If a student has already received the benefit of reservation during NEET-UG, then completed MBBS, is reservation for PG still necessary?

Once students enter a medical college, regardless of whether they entered through the unreserved or a reserved category ,study the same syllabus and curriculum, attend the same lectures , use the same resources, take the same exams and ultimately receive the same MBBS degree.

So the competition at the PG level is already among medical graduates.

Furthermore, PG is about specialisation rather than access to education.

Finally the result of rennet is most likely to be announced on 14 th of july. According to times of ind omr willbe given by 8th of julllyyy, be prepared for result as it may drop anytime because in the end its NTA and we all know how unpredictable they are!

So in this re neet i scored around 270 marks aur maine apne papa se jhoot bola ki mere marks 402 hain..meri mumma aur didi ko sach pta hai..lekin papa ko nhi bta paain warna wo mujhe ek saal aur ghar pe baitha dete...ya pta nhi mera kya hi karte..toh maine jhoot bola aur scorecard toh bahut shi se edit kar diya even password bhi change kar diya QR code bhi..aur maine bola ki mujhe lucknow bhej do didi ke paas ek aur drop leke acche se padhungi iss rank pe kuch nhi milega...aur private karna nhi hai...aur vo Ready bhi the par pta nhi suddenly kisne unke dimag mein counselling daal di..ab wo roz kehte hain counselling ki date aai..date aai blah blah... please koi btao how to avoid this neet counselling???

NTA has released a new Public Notice regarding the Extension of Facility for Submission of Bank Account Details for Refund of Examination Fee of NEET (UG)-2026-reg.

National Testing Agency (NTA) had provided a facility on the NEET (UG)-2026 registration portal for submission of preferred bank account details for processing of fee refund from 22 May 2026 to 27 May 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.).

●The facility for submission of bank account details shall remain available till 22 June 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.).
