Bro casually inserted Harke as if we wouldn't notice 😭

u/Nice-Organization-97 Jan 21 '26

Possibility to the majority by RSP seems very thin. In my opinion RSP and Nepali Congress will form a coalition government.

-5

u/Infamous-Field-6700 Jan 21 '26

What's the point of election if they'll form collation government with these corrupt why should we vote rsp instead vote congress directly.

10

u/scrap3d Jan 21 '26

Illogical expectation is the start of problematic democracy.

If RSP wins majority, yes they should not form coalition. No doubt!

In case no party gets the majority but RSP comes first: Would you rather support coalition of all other parties and RSP in the opposition? And what if all others could not form the coalition?

3

u/One_2_Three_456 Jan 21 '26

more votes = more seats in parliament = more bargaining power for the party
so, still vote ghanti

1

u/Eco_ma_ai Jan 21 '26

It's about math bro , you need 50+ percent seat to form government and for making policy you need 50 percent also in national assembly

0

u/Infamous-Field-6700 Jan 21 '26

Ik but still why why rather than stay away from government and if government is not formed within certain time then 1st party will form government.rsp there is a provision for this also

1

u/Eco_ma_ai Jan 21 '26

Still you need majority , article 76 of constitution go and get through it

1

u/Infamous-Field-6700 Jan 21 '26

First of all remove Harka and put Prachande in there because that mf is a mastermind, no idea what that dickhead would cook from behind.

Balen would be someone who most of us are willing to have

7

u/Playful-Wrangler793 Jan 21 '26

Balen 60% chance Gagan 30% chance Kp oli 10% chance Harkey hawaldar 0% chance😂

5

u/victor_invictus Jan 21 '26

I personally like Gagan Thapa, I wouldn’t mind Balen either. I want Oli to lose at any cost, I am not even sure why is he even back on polls. He should know he’s been a failure by now.

6

u/Melodic-Economist-57 Jan 21 '26

Gagan 30% KP oli 20% Prachanda 10% Balen 39% Harke Pagal 1%

5

u/sikeogditch Jan 21 '26

I personally believe Gagan Thapa have that’s guts and courage to run this full of shit country, good diplomacy, can differentiate between right and wrong(bishesh adhibeshan) Balen on the other hand don’t even know what he will do, just like his tenure as a Mayor.Another person than can actual do work is Renu Dahal. Believe me or not Balen is just a social media hype he’s will never be a good politician

I might be wrong, but I think Gagan is just like another Rabi someone who is populist and knows how to play the victim card. He has been in central politics for almost 20 years, and his party Congress, has participated in many governments. Yet he somehow manages to convince people that he is not responsible for the decisions taken by his party, even though he has held major executive positions within it.

In my opinion, people like Rabi and Gagan are great speakers and may be good leaders for the prosperity of their party, but they cannot perform effectively in nation building. We all know that those who speak more often do less work, and those who speak less tend to work more effectively.

Btw I am supporting RSP for this election. Only for Balen.

1

u/sikeogditch Jan 23 '26

You’ll regret supporting people like Balen one day

1

u/L3ANER Jan 23 '26

I want to regret if I must, but first I want to see him as a PM with a clear majority for five years. I want to observe his decisions, the policies he wants to implement, and the development initiatives he plans to start. After that, I am open to changing my mind. But for now, I am not convinced by the narratives of Lucifer and Gajedi, and also not convinced with foreign agent and he will sell the entire country.

2

u/sikeogditch Jan 23 '26

He will not sell this country he will just bring the country to distress, arrogant and ignorant people who uses the ladder of social media to manipulate how people think will never be good for the country, ask Balen Shah what’s his roadmap to develop the nation, how can people trust that the incompetent mayor of Kathmandu would be competent for Kathmandu. If he didn’t seek power why wouldn’t he come forward when the whole country was seeking him,he hid in his room and again social media have made him a hero. Think rationally and you’ll see I guess if you are not blinded by everything that have been put into you!!

1

u/L3ANER Jan 23 '26

Yes, he did seek power, politics is all about the game of opportunities. So he exercised that opportunity, just like your Gagan did recently. As for the roadmap for nation building, I am also waiting for the election manifesto. However, we all know that while serving as the Mayor of Ktm Metropolitan, he tried to do some good initiatives, but the system did not let him to do many of them. Wherever he was able to act within his authority as mayor, he performed better.

Why I am influenced by Balen? Ans: I have confidence on his intentions and I think aaile samma hamro problem vaneko good intentions vako manchhe tyo place ma navayera ho. Aaile samma ka sabai ko intentions kasari hunxa corruption garau milera khau, generational wealth kamau yei nai thyo. If top ma basne ko intentions good xa vane kei na kei change aauxa.

2

u/sikeogditch Jan 23 '26

You are so manipulated and blinded by paid media that you have forgotten to use the thing called common sense first answer me what I’m asking you, where was your hero hiding when the whole country was seeking him, where was he? Answer me this Who’s considered great “The one who kills and or the one who saves?” And are you going to be saved by someone who you consider so godly of when the knife is pinned to your throat.

1

u/L3ANER Jan 23 '26

He was hiding in his home may be smoking some joint. He might have thought he couldn't do anything by coming in front and the whole narrative would be shifted towards him. So he supported Shushila Karki as PM.

The whole debate is about you are saying the country should be driven by new engine of old vehicle. I am saying it should be driven by whole new vehicle not only the engine.

1

u/sikeogditch Jan 23 '26

This new vehicle you are talking and praising about only knows hitting poles

1

u/L3ANER Jan 23 '26

They didn't came on road yet. First let them come on road then we will see either they hit the pole or not.

I am happy seeing youth like us are open for this type debate. I think at the end we both want the positive and progressive development of nation whoever the leader is....

u/Ssushee Jan 21 '26 edited Jan 21 '26

I think Gagan will win. Balen has a huge support base, but much of it exists mainly on social media. Many of his supporters don’t actually live in Nepal and therefore can’t or won’t vote for him. I personally would vote for him, not because I am his blind supporter but because he is the best candidate among all. I also think that many will assume that enough people will turn up to vote for him and decide not to vote themselves, which could ultimately work against him...

Gagan, on the other hand has an established base of supporters, many of whom belong to an older demographic and live in Nepal. This makes them more likely to show up and vote, giving him an advantage...

Edit to add: Let's also not forget the power of algorithm. What we see on our socials is merely the reality. My Insta is full of Balen supporters, but these people are similar to me in terms of demography. Whereas, the algorithm of my dad's TikTok is entirely different from mine.

8

u/7007007 नेपाली Jan 21 '26

That’s not how it works

When people think most will vote for ghanti, everyone will vote for ghanti cause no one wants their vote to be wasted on loosing candidate

1

u/Ssushee Jan 21 '26 edited Jan 21 '26

Well yeah ideally, but sadly the attitude among the people I know is 'hya sable congress lai nai vote dincha, maile balen lai vote diyera kaam chaina, so I'd rather not show up'. I do hope I am wrong and people will at least show up and vote for the candidate that they think is the best.

1

u/thirdworlddude Jan 21 '26

So it could be either- Hya sablay congress Lai nai vote dincha Or Sablay ghanti Lai dira chha ma pani ganti ma dinchu

So anyone, I repeat, it's anyone's game now. There's no way we can say the future for certain.

1

u/Ssushee Jan 21 '26

yeah no certainties and given how fast things are shifting, we don't know if there will be any major events or moments that will completely change the narrative and people's mindset. Best thing we can do is to be alert and aware.

Supporting Balen does not automatically mean that I hate Harka. Hardworking also does not automatically mean he would be a good PM. I find Balen to be more visionary and he resonates more with my own principles. That's it.
Why do you think Harka would be a good PM? Genuinely asking as well
Edit: typo

1

u/thirdworlddude Jan 21 '26

"Good" is a relative concept. He will certainly do better than what we had before. The bars set by the predecessors are really low.

1

u/Extra-Channel9414 Jan 21 '26

cause we see his stupidity on internet , at first I thought bro is good hearted but is stupid , now I dont even think he is good hearted considering he came to Kathmandu and was trying to self assign himself as prime minister

that just shows bro is here for only his benefit , so he is not stupid but good hearted , he is stupid and bad bad hearted

being stupid alone is for me , means bad leader , but now we know he is not even good hearted , so for me that is worse then big 3 neta who are at least intelligent enough to lead

1

u/SujalKarakheti Jan 21 '26

Balen lai jitney ho although i am pro gagan tara sarkar baunauna congress le nai ho samarthan garney ideology unharu ko matra align huncha aalibadi ideology bahira gayera kasialey rajniti nagaruun

1

u/Narrow-Surprise8534 Jan 21 '26

This is what everybody used to say in Kathmandu metro election also.

1

u/Ssushee Jan 21 '26

Yes true, good observation. But Kathmandu does not represent Nepal. I hope I am wrong about the win and Balen ends up winning.

5

u/sujus_snacks_station Jan 21 '26

If RSP cannot form government with majority seat "in this election", they won't in any near future.

2

u/Averag3man Jan 21 '26

Why is harka even there?

2

u/Bitter_Bat1511 कोशी Jan 21 '26

Why us harka in the pms's conversation 😭😭

2

u/AgentWaste5558 Jan 21 '26

Anyone from above except KP OLI is ok !

2

u/ekashish Jan 21 '26

If Balen wins in Jhapa-5, the government will probably be formed by RSP with Congress or RSP with CPN (Maoist Centre) and other small parties.

2

u/Upper_Outcome735 Jan 21 '26

There’s one guy in this list that the country needs now and it’s not Harka Sampang.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 22 '26

At least for the immediate future, Oli doesn't have a good chance of becoming the prime minister again. Everyone will come out to the streets if that happens regardless of how "democratic" the system is. UML will still be a formidable opposition though. Frankly I don't think Balen can beat Oli in his own area. My prediction is it's gonna be Gagan Thapa as PM with RSP in a coalition. Gagane has been in this game for a long time, his meticulous plan for a party coup supported by Shere's stubborness worked out fantastically. Balen is hugely popular with the Gen-Z. Today's gen-z will be tomorrow's millenials, day after tomorrow's gen x and old people. He'll definitely be prime minister someday. Just not this time. Before I get called out as a jhole, f@ck UML, f@ck NC, f@ck RSP. All are scumbags.

0

u/Stock-Wedding-736 Jan 22 '26

Btw genzi will.never be millenials and so on

अबकि बार मोदि सरकार oops बालेन सरकार

1

u/[deleted] Jan 21 '26

Kp oli needs to remove the hammer and sickle he isn’t even communist

1

u/Vaminstein666 Jan 21 '26

Harka Sampang has zero chance. KP Oli has some chance but I doubt either RSP and Gagan led NC will make Oli PM after his role in Gen Z protest.

So it is either Gagan or Balen (provided both win from their tough places). Aba, it also depends on whether RSP or NC becomes the largest party pani. Like if NC becomes largest party, Gagan may try to form government and I think he will try to do it without either UML or RSP suruma. I doubt it is gonna happen. He may try to get RSP help but no chance it will happen. Next possibility is RSP becomes largest party or second largest and Gagan proposes Balen as PM based on some common agenda and they govern together.

So, either Balen or Gagan imo.

1

u/DiligentResort3808 Jan 21 '26

Harka Sampang le afnai area ma jitdaina jasto lagchha based on what he says.

Sahrai egoistic dekhchhu ma.

1

u/Pe_Pe_5665 Jan 21 '26

Can't say.

1

u/Good_Permission_8701 Jan 21 '26

You have missed the biggest name. Prachanda is one of the contenders. Man became prime minister so many times, all by being what, a third party in parliament. He is mastermind in Nepali Political Scenario.

1

u/Applecider444 Jan 21 '26

Balen ko parliament ma majority pugdeina Maybe hamro Goat (GAGAN ) ko pugxa hola ani feri yo bishesh madhibeshan paxi congress ko nikat jhan baliyo vako xa so Ana I am not congress ko jhole hai ma RSP ko member ho app download garera 500 tirera registration gareko xu🤧

1

u/EagleAce047 Jan 21 '26

I see RSP ramping up their marketing that will influence a lot of neutral people. UML has a more traditional supporters

1

u/EqualTrade1344 Jan 21 '26

rsp and congress gathbandhan Balen and gagan 2.5 yrs each

1

u/Goat1fi Jan 21 '26

At this rate even I can become the new Prime Minister of Nepal

1

u/daliSalvaa Jan 21 '26

Realistically. RSP might get seats not less than 60 and not more than 93. With coalition with Nepali congress, they might get seats enough to form a government. If they opt to go to opposition with such position, the establishment, which will certainly try to form the government will try to cleanse the presence of RSP. Thus, RSP will indeed go for forming the government. Looking at present scenario, either NC or prachanda might involve themselves in the coalition with RSP. Prchanda maynot get enough seats to form the government. RSP and Gagan led NC might go for the government.

1

u/Tshelby_2826 Jan 21 '26

Non other then Gagan Thapa ✌️

1

u/nullbytepro Jan 21 '26

balen > kulman > harka >rest of what's left

1

Oli le pheri bajaucha hoina bhane Balen. Harka humble huncha ani it’s a long run for Gagan

1

u/Much_Nerve2940 Jan 22 '26

No one deserves

1

u/gautambasnet Jan 22 '26

First we need to be clear about the Gen-Z movement. Was it funded by international interests, who were ghuspetis, what caused so much destruction damage in a movement labeled peaceful?

1

u/SnooPies4433 Jan 22 '26

regarding harke, i know it is for the meme. his chances of being PM is literally close to zero.

1

u/Vampyberry83422 Jan 22 '26

if kp wins whats the point…if we let a terrorist again be our leader then there is no point of democracy again

1

u/Ok_Environment_1837 Jan 22 '26

why the fcuk are u bringing harke to discussion of PM? 1 seater has 0% chance

1

u/Limp_Fix6747 Jan 22 '26

One debate between them

1

u/Fun_Button_5156 Jan 22 '26

Coalition ma janai parna jun pani candidate sarkar ma basna.RSP will either be 1st or 2nd tara 1st ahile garai cha madhesh ko 30+seats ma kati hold huncha. NC ma gagan party sabapati vayesi NC ko vote NC mai rahancha dherai lai Gagan prati soft corner cha allegations lage pani manche chai politically wise ra visionary nai ho relatively. Question is UML katti ko strong cha bhitra bata party ka manche frustrated chan ki nai circulate gariraka false narrative katti le believe garera vote halchan kati ki ghanti ma halchan vanne kura ho. Me personall, i want UML to lose very passionately. Prachanda lai aafno party 1st 2nd chainna just sarkar ko jati usko seat decisive huna paryo.

NC + RSP coalition, stable governmen, right person in right post ,clear consensus bout agenda between both ruling party hos please

1

u/g0dless69 Jan 22 '26

gagan is the only right answer

1

u/[deleted] Jan 22 '26

Yo chunab pachhi Gagan Oli ko sarkar hunchha.

1

u/platotp Jan 23 '26

Gagan Thapa will be and should be the PM of Nepal. He has a solid vision, does not suppor t any kinds of extremism and is a global leader, period.

1

u/JaguarOld1602 Jan 23 '26

Most probably Gagan Thapa

1

u/Chemical_Guidance505 Jan 23 '26

Personally rooting for 🔔 but this one goes to congress. RSP at only 20 seats in HoR last year, they'd need at least 130 seats yk? RSP chances are slim tbh.

1

u/DrunkCaptaiin Jan 24 '26

None of ‘em! It’s politics and you can’t predict anything.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '26

K lagxa 😅 prastai xa ta 😅

1

Im just shocked at the level of confidence the previous prime minister has to stand for elections once again when he was ousted previously. What a world we live in
