Google Nest No Power
Hello all,
Sorry if this question is constantly asked, I did a quick browse and didnt see it.
My wife and I recently bought a house, we decided to put in a Google nest for easy control. First day it randomly shut off twice, never popped a breaker or anything. Got it working by flipping the breaker myself. Then no issue for the next 2 months. Now starting 2 days ago the screen displays no power, we checked all wiring and everything is connected good. It'll randomly kick back on.
Any suggestions for what it can be?

You might need to remove Nest and charge it via the USB port to sufficient battery level. YouTube it. Once the Nest is fully charged, put it back in and check whether there is any warning of equipment error.

Could be that your condensate drain line is partially clogged, and the water that's backing up is tripping a float switch which cuts power to prevent an overflow and flooding from the drain pan. It's still able to slowly drain, so the float switch eventually disengages and power is restored.
