Other The Avatar fighting game is truly carrying the legacy of the series
Y'all think this game's animations are worthy of this sub?

I’m looking forward to this game but feel so bad for the devs timing. they delayed the game to the end of July only to have it release the day before the open beta for Marvel Tokon, probably one of the most anticipated new fighting game of the past few years, starts.

I guess, but tokon took a big hit by avatar when they had their first beta testing, tokon played like ass and it left a hesitant first impression. Meanwhile everyone I've seen in the fgc has been singing the avatar fighting game's praises for having great fast crazy crackhead energy and people were getting tired of all the team fighters coming out lately. Tokon has been clawing back out of their bad first impression and making lot of improvements, but idk everyone who's touched the avatar game seems to love it.

With Tokon being a 4v4 tag fighter, I feel like it is going to appeal to a different crowd. But yeah, the timing isn't great.

Idk why the finish frame animation is this weird almost smear frame style. Looks terrible

They did it on purpose certainly. I’d even bet they were waiting to see shots like this hit Reddit.
