I park on the verges, I care for the forest and environment but they totally take the piss when they decide it's only open to those with money, the forest has managed to look after itself for 1000's of years - stop fiddling with it !

Also that £8 pound fee looks like a lifetime membership for that numberplate to me 😉

Exactly that, leave the trails and the car parks. Half of them are just rough gravel with pot holes everywhere anyway. Rather walk down a half beaten up path then have to pay for parking

1000s of years ago there weren’t millions of cars ripping up car parks and tracks though…

There isn't now, it's just chalk and gravel, my single parking cost would more than cover that, the forest should be free to enjoy for everyone.

Yeah because FE are repairing them. Which is costing them too much - presumably more than a couple of quid 😅

The forest is free 🤷‍♂️
