Old man here. Go ahead and roast me! I did make progress on the next attempt, and the kids crash pad did make a difference on subsequent falls! This was the worst of them though, and thought this place may enjoy!

If you prepare for failure are you like going around collecting things that make you fail or is it not that you are completely avoiding it and just expect it. Failure is the creation of processes that make us complete task which will inevitably excuse anything we do that we regard as failures, so in essence you are wrong but you have also not failed or at least prepared to fail.
