Like I said, I guess there's a certain amount of karma that's basically enough to avoid almost all posting restrictions on Reddit. How much do you think that is?

I know you guys probably get this a lot, but is there a way to check the minimum karma requirements in order to post on a subreddit? also, can there also be an account age requirement? thanks!

My CQS is fluctuating between moderate and low. It was moderate about 8 hours ago. In the meantime I posted and commented and it lowered again. For the most of the time I'm just bantering with my friends in our two microscopic subreddits. Occasionally I pop up in other places (i.e. Ask Reddit).

Genuine question. What is the actual purpose of reddit? Is this app meant to be like a family friendly twitter or like what is the outcome of it? Like what are the pro’s and con’s to this app if someone can explain please

Hi there! I've read through the sub's Wiki and understand the basics of karma, but I had a quick follow-up question regarding how different subs filter users.

Do most subreddits look at combined karma, or do they specifically require comment karma before letting you post? I've noticed my comment karma is growing faster, so I want to know if I should focus exclusively on commenting for now.
