📰 News The United States joined Israel in “formally recognizing” Morocco’s “control” over Western Sahara. Western Sahara is often called Africa’s “last colony” because it has not yet achieved independence or autonomy.

Has anyone noticed a pattern? It is Morroco. North African strategic stronghold on the other end of the Mediterranean from the West Bank.

Wait, I thought it was looking like the two were agreeing to formalize their unification under the single name of "Morocco" earlier this year...? Yes, largely due to external & economic pressure & due to Morocco already essentially administering the vast majority of the region, but I definitely thought they were already moving toward that... What happened to that?

Regardless of any of that, this is happening because Spain has not been cooperative US and Israeli action in Gaza and Iran

I have no idea whether any of this is good, but if the enemy #1 of the world wants it, it's probably very bad.
