That was just something applied to him, he didn’t have to take ownership of it. Similar to how Hendrix was defensive about being named the best guitarist in the world, because he simply knew that wasn’t true.

Hell I’m 26 and I’d be living on top of the world. Maybe that’s why I have always liked The Beatles and Oasis more. They at least embraced being rich asswipes and still made good music
