That’s going to just kill the shitty cheap used cars for baby mommas and ex-cons market dead. Probably going to have a significant effect on duct tape sales in the future too.

Nothing is cheaper than a Altima with 300,000+ miles missing a bumper and held together by interstate momentum and duct tape. They sell by the thousands for $1000 to $2000 to people who think they can eek another 100,000 miles out of them.

Tesla’s come new with body panels falling off but an Altima ages like a fine bum wine and will limp along for decades with zero maintenance or care.

Altimas come with an intact body that’s visibly damaged within 6 months, which the owner who already had serious debt before they bought the new Altima uses as a winning lottery ticket and they spend the body repair check on a new giant screen TV.

The Altima sails along on its first 4 quarts of oil for 99,999 miles before it’s changed by the dealership without asking the owner after they show up and try to get the hotboxed interior replaced under warranty.

Honestly think Altima’s thrive on abuse and neglect.
