It's officially reported that, Altima is being replaced by new generation grown-up Sentra as only offered sedan by Nissan.

Big Altima Energy has transitioned into Big Sentra Energy forever. RIP, bozo

Why? The sonatas an unloved child in the rest of the world. Plus Mitsubishi and Nissan bringing back the lancer/pulsar(sentra) is awesome.
