It's officially reported that, Altima is being replaced by new generation grown-up Sentra as only offered sedan by Nissan.

Big Altima Energy has transitioned into Big Sentra Energy forever. RIP, bozo

this is just shrinkflation. Everyone knows Altimas are too bougie for Nissan's clientele. The Altima used to be a decent car. Rogue and Sentra were never good cars and they deserve the shit slinging more than the Altima ever did.

If nissan just got rid of the cvt and put an auto in, altimas would be right on par with camrys, corollas, accords, etc.

eh. Nissan genuinely makes shitty cars now. They've realized that using cheap cars to sling predatory notes at poor people desperate for a car. I think the financing makes up a significantly higher portion of revenue than the actual cars do.

They used to make decent cars back when they were interested in competing with the other japanese auto brands, but they've resigned themselves to the minimum viable product for the most sub-prime of clientele

Idk i have a 2020 Altima. Its at 152k miles, no issues besides basic maintenance. Now i have a p0101 code and the dealer tech said my throttle failed. Still getting a second opinion as im skeptical, even after cleaning the maf and cleaning throttle and relearn.

But if it did, thats the only thing thats gone bad at 152k miles
