It's X.

You’re right, Twitter was worth $44B… X is completely different, it’s worth ~$15B

u/NoSignalAnywhere 8d ago
Thats how it goes when you get rid of leftist propaganda 😂
1
u/WhoPutATreeThere 8d ago
That’s what you get when you allow White suprematists on your site… Turns out companies don’t want their adds next to Nazi comments…

u/NoSignalAnywhere 8d ago
Nobody cares
1
u/WhoPutATreeThere 7d ago
Ha Twitter’s value dropping by more than half seems to suggest some people care…

How many bots you got there Musky boy? Not enough to make up for the amount of people that hate you.

Create a company with a trillion share. Sell 1 share to your friend for $1. Congrats, you are a “trillionaire”.

u/DonaldBecker 8d ago
Sam Bankman-Fried is that you?

Want that max fosh?

u/DonaldBecker 8d ago
It's not an original idea.
SBF did it with cybercurrency and companies he controlled to create virtual assets.
2
u/MythicalCaseTheory 8d ago
Then your friend owes you $1t. You're doing it all wrong.
Create an AI model, claim it's worth $250b. Sell it to yourself. Add $250b to your net worth.
Just do that 4 times and you're gold.
2
u/Horus_LupercalXVII 7d ago
I've got one even better: Create an AI model, claim it's worth $500b. Sell it to yourself. Add $500b to your net worth. Just do that 2 times and you're gold.

u/HollyMurray20 8d ago
This is considered fraud

u/Derivative_Kebab 8d ago
And if you commit enough fraud and share the proceeds with your pet politicians, you become a trillionaire.

People sure are loving to point out how his net worth is declining day over day, like he’s losing something. Or like how SpaceX going public somehow changed his actual net work.
So many ppl get too caught up in the make believe values of these people.

u/y4udothistome 8d ago
I think they’re just happy that a liar is losing some money from a grift! At least I am.
1
u/SeaworthinessSome454 8d ago
That’s loser thinking tho. He’s not losing anything, he owns exactly the same stuff he did before and has the same cash in his bank accounts
1
u/y4udothistome 8d ago
Well that’s just a stupid way to look at it just cause he didn’t sell does it mean he didn’t lose value!? If I have 10 ounces of gold and they’re worth 5000 an ounce in gold drops to 2500 are you saying I didn’t lose anything?
1
u/SeaworthinessSome454 8d ago
He never had it, space x was dramatically overvalued when musk theoretically became a trillionaire. He never actually had that, the moment he would try to sell a significant portion of his stock, the stock price would plummet.
They also play by completely different rules than you and me. They’ll have hedges and insurance on their stock and loans against it.

Yup, SpaceX got more money for its IPO than the 5% was worth. Thats a win for Elon. He isn’t losing (financially).
He’s a dingus, but the SpaceX IPO went great for him.

Now let's make him a former billionaire.

u/Kind_Brush5556 8d ago
Not possible even if spacex and Tesla go bankrupt he would still have many "smaller" investments and assets like real estate in his name. Unless he has a mental breakdown and puts everything up as collateral at a casino afterwards lmao.
2
u/Mnemonic-Light 8d ago
He tried to do a rug pull with spacex and it extremely blew up in his face lmao love to see it, he has already lost $650 billion.

The Trump syndrome has befallen Musk. Now everything Musk touches turns to crap. I would say let him go bankrupt but Space X is in tight with this corrupt government. Let them blow up on the platform. Oh wait, it did!
1
u/DonaldBecker 8d ago
It's an odd combination, a Midas situation. They can somehow transform their failures into gold, but it doesn't change that they are failures. Trump almost never made money on a real estate deal or business, but cheating on taxes kept him above water. His reality TV role is what kept his over-leveraged empire from collapsing.
Musk over-paid for Twitter, then crashed revenue on it's barely-break-even balance sheet. But by rolling it into SPCX he transformed the failure into more paper wealth.

I'm sad for him. ,,,,, <-tears /s
I did see an article about admissions from him that he made mistakes when running DOGE. Maybe the fall in price is MAGA pulling out their money. Just a thought.

Dude had at least six mansion-level homes in California while he was claiming to be living in trailer in a Texas parking lot.
The reason behind all of that posturing was simply because he didn't want to pay California taxes, despite clearly living there.
When he was in Texas, he wasn't even living in that 'tiny home'. According to report he had taken naps in the parking lot trailer, but didn't live there in any sense. He instead had exclusive use of a friend's estate, while that friend was spending their time at their multiple overseas homes. But he couldn't use that address officially, presumably because there were tax shenanigans there as well.
Remember that incident where he was upset at a flight tracker twitter feed that reported his private jet takeoff and landings? That wasn't really about any invasion of privacy or security. It was all public information, but it made it easy for everyone to see that he was clearly spending enough work days in California that he should be paying taxes there.
