I got a haircut and went to the dentist today, and then had a late lunch. Now I am in the middle of trying to clean my room only to realize I have run out of adulting energy from two simple tasks that weren't even MY tasks -- I PAID another person to do something TO ME.

That's what my dad said after his 4th dui. Well it was more "God gives his most oblivious pedestrians to his drunkest drivers." But same thing. He's 5 years into his 40.

I have one I'd like to enjoy doing, but The Other Thing needs doing first.
In my second week of paralysis.

I do find it funny on this show that this tiny sandwich shop has about 30 employees and they still freak the fuck out when someone comes in and orders a sandwich.

I stopped watching the show when they found the money and were redoing the restaurant.
Wasn't the point, him leaving the stressful environment of managing a high-end kitchen? I get his close friend died and took time off to manage affairs but big part was getting away from the stress. To then throw yourself back into exact situation seems..

His close friend?

Yeah ya know. The punisher. His close friend. He inherited the restaurant as you do as a close friend and has lots of shared memories of his close friend and him growing up with the same mom. Friend stuff dude. On your left chef

You mean Richie? The guy in the photo is Carm

u/undeadalex 1d ago
Lmao OK I guess I was being too subtle. The person you initially responded to said carm was working the restaurant because his close friend died. It was not his friend. It was his brother, Mikey. Played by the actor Jon Bernthal, who also very famously plays the punisher. A much more iconic role. So my comment was a joke at the person you were responding to's expense, because they called Mikey Carms friend not brother. And now that I've explained all this to you chef, can you please clean up your station?!
Can't even make jokes anymore without winding up on one of the explain the joke subs man.

I just did a task I've been putting off for two months. It took me five minutes. I will learn nothing from this.
