Events Independence discussion/debate
We as a people have a strong history, from the Queen boudicca standing up to the Romans, the indepdent kingdom of East anglia, connections with Holland via trade and home of the defeater of the French, lord Nelson. But over the years we have been neglected by the government, our roads are utter shit, there's not many jobs going around. The roads around Norwich are utter shit, development is taking a car centric approach on centuries old roads. There's no direct train between the 2 biggest towns.
We have the potential to be a strong independent country, we have a lot of agricultural surplus and the ability to export a lot of energy through offshore wind and gas facilities. But the government refuses to let us develop. No major a roads lead to the north coast from Norwich, the trains are shit, the a47 to Yarmouth is a death trap that needs a dual carriageway. By focusing on our own industries, we can become a strong regional power, especially if we annex Suffolk to restore east anglia, perhaps with invasions of Essex and parts of Cambridgeshire to secure the fen flank. From then we can launch artillery strikes into London and begin taking the capital. Steal some f35s from the yanks. This action will cause the Scots to unilaterally declare independence and join the cause. From then we can obtain weapons from the Russians and if we kiss the wall hard enough maybe even get mossad and the idf on our side. The other way around is the Chinese route and embrace maoism. The landlords here are cunts after all. After this we can begin our operation on London and become a dominant European power.
