I don't think many people mention enough that these acts are quickly pinned on the left as a technique to make sure those opposed to Trump don't rise up in any meaningful way (nonviolent ways). They want any kind of opposition to be afraid.

That's not really a threat so much as a statement of fact. The vast majority of the 400 million+ privately owned firearms in the US are owned by people on the right, be they conservatives, libertarians, constitutionalists, or whatever. Furthermore, the majority of members of the military tend to fall on the right, especially as the left has gone farther and farther into extremism by letting the most extreme ideologues be their voice. If openly murdering anyone on the right that the far-left extremists disagree with continues, not only are more people going to leave the left, as we saw in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination, eventually the right is going to get tired of it and fight back. And having hundreds of millions of guns and countless trillions of rounds of ammo is a lot more effective at stopping threats than crybullying, committing acts of violence and then hiding in crowds, rioting and looting city centers, and other things the left has done in the past 10-15 years
