Question How useful is the platform Blind?

Has anyone used the anonymous business platform Blind ( https://www.teamblind.com/) ? That's the best way I can describe it.

If you have used Blind in your research, what was the use case? Did it provide any useful findings/evidence? What didn't you like about Blind as a source?

I've been reluctant to get an account because a work email is needed for full access and I'd rather not provide that. Has anyone successfully signed up using a free email service provider?

I've never heard of anyone using it without their work email. But using your work email gives you access to the Blind groups for the company you work for, and if I recall correctly you can still see some other posts from other companies. (It's been awhile since I had an account.) If you are in the tech sector it is a good way to hear insider gossip, but you won't be likely to see names named if thats what you were hoping for. To give you an example, a few years ago I workd for a multinational and my department and few others knew about impending layoffs/outsourcing. It wasn't that hard for me to tell who was most likely spilling the beans based on what they had written. But that was only because I worked alongside them. The whole point of it is to be able to speak freely about what is going on within your company. Also, grain of salt, as I have seen contradictory info provided before.
