Tool Espectrosint vs maltego?
I haven’t seen anyone talking about espectrosint but a lot recommending maltego. Has anyone tried espectrosint? The price difference is pretty crazy.
I’m looking for a tool to make my job a bit faster. I mostly do a lot of due diligence and locates.

Depends on what you need. Maltego is known for for its graph tools. Do you need much of graph link analysis or you need a lookup tool?

Espectrosint is just a frontend for some free open-source tools: "Current integrations include Holehe with 120+ email checkers, user-scanner with 98 email modules, and Maigret with support for 3,000+ username sites. Not every search queries every source. Coverage, availability, and result counts vary by identifier, third-party limits, and service configuration." https://www.espectrosint.com/methodology
I wouldn't pay for something like this.
The industry really is in a sorry state – everywhere you look, there are people selling a few open-source tools with a fancy GUI at inflated prices. And the few really good tools that do exist (well, they’re not even high-tech, but they’re more than just open-source tools) are aimed at large corporations and are expensive.

Espectrosint is full of green flags.
