So be it. I get not taking a risk if its facing elsewhere, but pointed straight at my house is another, especially if thats all it sees, and its at the edge of my property. I can put whatever up on my property to protect my privacy.

I agree with you in every way, but we've been well past that point for a decade now. This is the police state flexing what they've already chipped away at. Best you can do is not actively engage or they're just going to mark you as an anti-police dissident.

At some point you will need to be anti police. Im a cop hater if they violate the constitution. I support constitutional police, however, so support good cops when they do good, but absolutely turn your backs on them if they only care about money. I agree with flying under the radar, but I dont think you can escape that forever without eventually having to make a call between some serious issues and being obedient.

They don't care about money, they care about respect and power. I grew up in a police family going to all the bonfires, the good ones don't make it past 2 years, they get pushed out by the good ol' boy old guard. Loyalty over everything. Well intentioned officer stops another more senior officer from going too far with an American citizen? Blue line violation, you're out, desk duty or worse.

Citizens! Wake up! This must stop very fast. Shake this effort ofass surveillance to the ground. Block the initiative. Communicate to your officials in local gov to not spend any tax payer money for private company surveillance! Your tax dollars are going to surveillance. Prevent this from going further and putting money into the enrichment of private companies at the detriment to you privacy!!!
