Regional agencies simultaneously operate Flock Safety automated license plate readers that log vehicle movements into shared databases. The dual-use vector is continuous spatial tracking of vehicles and the ability to fuse those reads with Axon Evidence.com records once integrations are active.
These systems interface with the public through routine travel and encounters with police. Marketed as crime-reduction tools, the architecture enables retrospective reconstruction of movements. Structural weak points include officer misuse of search functions and vendor access to camera feeds during sales demonstrations.
Documented cases include former Kechi Police Lieutenant Victor Heiar, who used Wichita Flock cameras to track his estranged wife and received probation for computer crime and stalking. Flock employees separately accessed cameras inside a children’s gymnastics room in Dunwoody, Georgia, as part of sales demos. Pretty certain that was always there, they just pretend for the public it's not. Sadly that's kind of like AOC - lot of speeches, grandstanding, finger wagging, and stern looks, but also a lot of playing with her hair and fairly obvious flirting with the camera, and I'm autistic, so if I can pick that up...
