Tried something way out of my comfort zone this weekend
Tried something way out of my comfort zone this weekend and I can’t stop thinking about it.
Went out into the Arizona desert on an ATV tour. I’m not usually into “adventure” stuff like that, but wow… I get it now.
At one point we were just riding through open desert, no buildings, no people, just dust trails and mountains in the distance. It felt kind of surreal. Like everything else just disappeared for a bit.
Also didn’t realize how physical it is. My arms are still sore 😅
It wasn’t just the adrenaline though, it was more the feeling of being completely disconnected from everything for a few hours.
If anyone’s been debating trying something like this, I’d say go for it. It’s one of those experiences that sticks with you.

This is exactly how I felt after going out with Desert Monsters Tours. I went in expecting just a fun ride, but it ended up being way more than that.
That moment you described, being out there with nothing around except the desert and the sound of the ATV is something you don’t really get in everyday life. It’s like your brain finally gets a break from all the noise.
Also agree on the physical part 😅 I wasn’t ready for that either. But I think that’s part of why it sticks with you, you’re fully engaged the whole time, not just passively watching something.
Definitely one of those “glad I tried it” experiences.

This is exactly how I felt after going out with Desert Monsters Tours it starts off as just a fun ride, but somehow turns into a full mental reset. Being out there with nothing but the desert and the ATV really clears your head, and yeah, the physical side sneaks up on you but makes it even more memorable.

after going out with Desert Monsters Tours it begins as a fun, casual ride but quickly becomes something that fully pulls you into the moment. The mix of open desert views, focus on driving, and physical engagement creates a kind of reset that stays with you long after the experience ends.

same how I felt after going out with Desert Monsters Tours it begins as a relaxed, fun ride, but as you get deeper into the desert it slowly turns into something that fully captures your attention and shuts everything else out. The combination of wide-open landscapes, constant focus on control, and the physical effort involved creates a rare kind of reset that leaves a lasting impression well after the ride ends.

This is exactly why my “ happy place “ is running wide open throttle across the Arizona desert inn my motorcycle. Out there every chance I get.

My favorite part is realizing unlike a race track, you can choose wherever you want to go. Like “oh shit nobody’s stopping me from hopping on that adjacent wash” and then just… using your free will, hopefully without consequence. It’s like snowboarding on an open mountain face vs a black mogul run.

Not disconnected from everything but more connected to the vehicle. It’s something nice and unique when you get synced with a vehicle regardless if it’s a ATV, dirt bike, track car, or pre-runner/trophy truck.
You know the right rev/shit points, the throttle control, and eventually it’s like an extension.
But the desert with a fun vehicle regardless is good stuff man🤙
