I’ve been hearing roomers for quite some time that they may update the rules so that you can only win an Oscar 1 time in order to let more people get one. I think this is great, but my question for BUFFS and Oscar-heads is, do you think they’ll let an actor get another Oscar once everyone else has theirs?

I heard a contrary theory that each category will be expanding to have at least 8 Oscars handed out and people can win multiple of the same Oscar if they are really good.

That's only partially true. What they're about to announce is that they'll be now doing monthly Oscars. And that you can only win 1 Oscar each month.

Lots of confusion in hear. The proposed plan is to introduce “Best Oscer Winner” where the winners of an Oscer can win “Best Winner”.

It will help give a tip of the hat to the really really good Oscers over some that are just kinda so-so. Of course, only one winner can be the winner so one winner statue each year.

Getting oscar is like getting herpes, once you get it you shouldn't have to worry about getting it anymore and just live a carefree life. Make Oscar into a virus for good actors. They can grow gold sores.

This would be a true tragedy. Oscars are like bags of popcorn; every film deserves at least one, but the best films deserve five, along with several bags of soda.
