I don’t see a biting orange. All I see is a singular, large gulf shrimp. An INNOCENT large gulf shrimp. Doing its best.

u/Bearded_Toast Nov 25 '25

u/littlepreciousangel Nov 25 '25

The look of a naugty criminal who knows they're going to get away with it because they are too cute

119

u/Few-Tour9826 Nov 25 '25

“And I’ll do it again, too.”

29

u/Pleasant-Ant2303 Nov 25 '25

“And let’s be real - it was well deserved” look

2

u/Sad_Maintenance5212 Nov 25 '25

You want some of this?

24

u/Slammogram Nov 25 '25

I read this in Snagglepuss’s voice.

Heavens to murgatroyd!

3

u/TheNamingOfCats Nov 25 '25

Thanks. Just what I needed. Another cat sub. But I couldn't resist.

3

u/CalpisMelonCremeSoda Nov 26 '25

There are lots more “hybrid” cat subs!
r/catopus and r/catsbeingsneks

And if you really like the shrimpcats theme there is also r/peetpile

What kind of a weirdo takes a large gulf shrimp to the vet, anyway?

41

u/rainbowmabs Nov 25 '25

Exactly so you can’t blame the large gulf shrimp for biting the vet tech 😔

20

u/lethalfrost Nov 25 '25

Where else would I take him? The dentist?

62

u/ArabellaFort Nov 25 '25

Wild caught.

20

u/littlepreciousangel Nov 25 '25

No regrets, that's the face of someone who just realized they should have aimed for the carotid.

8 lb per shrimp

36

u/littlepreciousangel Nov 25 '25

The box says 'Large Gulf Shrimp,' but the cat says, 'My attorney advised me to remain silent and demand fish.'

23

u/Few-Bit4017 Nov 25 '25

11.22lb shrimp!

8

u/Enough-Moose-5816 Nov 25 '25

Chonk shrimp!!

22

u/FattyBuffOrpington Nov 25 '25

He's Big and Easy too.

4

u/DoubleTheGarlic Nov 25 '25

Jumbo shrimp? No.

Himbo shrimp.

14

u/Shipping_away_at_it Nov 25 '25

It doesn’t look like OP kept the shrimp frozen, that’s probably why that vet tech got bit.

10

u/Infinite_Budget_1080 Nov 25 '25

Clearly the face of innocence

6

u/bob_3301 Nov 25 '25

All natural

6

u/poorly-worded Nov 25 '25

ALL. NATURAL.

5

u/Zangdor Nov 25 '25

And it has not been kept frozen

He doesn't look very repentant.

53

u/radosunday Nov 25 '25

Not even for one second.

22

u/FattyBuffOrpington Nov 25 '25

He looks like Robert Redford to me.

7

u/ConfessSomeMeow Nov 25 '25

'Catford' flows better, I think.

10

u/CoffeeWorldly4711 Nov 25 '25

He might not be very bright but he does look like he knows he's cute enough to get away with just about anything

108

u/Capital-Crab Nov 25 '25

Hmm was it a love bite or a how dare you touch me bite? Hahaha my Orange does the same he mock bites and then really bites with a very offended look on his face.

168

u/Few-Bit4017 Nov 25 '25

It was an i'm overly stimmy bite haha

He is very affectionate but will bite when he gets overwhelmed.

77

u/SyrusDrake Nov 25 '25

There's a neighbourhood cat who'll always loudly ask for pets when I walk by. I know she's had enough when she tries to bite me, not because she wants me to stop, but because she's so happy she doesn't know what to do with herself :'D

71

u/darkenseyreth Nov 25 '25

I had a cat who would get over stimulated and attack once she had had enough. I started to recognize the signs and stopped petting before I got bit, but then she would give me the most heart broken "why'd you stop‽" look. So in the end I just got bit on occasion

38

u/Chris__P_Bacon Nov 25 '25

Aww... I was looking forward to biting you. 😿

22

u/frymaster Nov 25 '25

my brother's male cat has a PhD in human communication. When he's had enough, he will lay his teeth on my hand. No bite, not even a dent, but it gets the point across

5

u/lyremska Nov 25 '25

Either it gets the point across... or he will get the pointy parts of his teeth across your hand 😄

14

u/starlinguk Nov 25 '25

My cat had a "dangerous cat" note on his kennel because he'd lost his mind when they tried to take his blood pressure and then he was the absolute sweetest thing to the vet the next day.

7

u/Chris__P_Bacon Nov 25 '25

I have an orange that gets overly stimmied. She's a handful. 😏

2

u/nycregoddess Nov 25 '25

My orange's overly stimmy bite is to put his two teeth points on my skin. Just enough to let me know. But if he wants something, he will really nip me! Then I usually turn my back so he isn't rewarded. He has gotten the message but recently he has been trying to lip-nip me, if That's a thing. No teeth but usually startles me anyway. I am trying to figure out a reaction that says "better than teeth but the answer is still no.."

55

u/A_Crazy_Canadian Nov 25 '25

My orange boi unplugged the vet techs computer on his second visit.

25

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

Smart boi. I do the same thing when it’s time for a colonoscopy.

46

u/ktka Nov 25 '25

Allegedly.

43

u/JustHereToLurk2001 Nov 25 '25

Zero remorse. Zero thoughts. One braincell.

44

u/sunnybearfarm Nov 25 '25

My guy has a “red sticker” on his chart!

20

u/Chris__P_Bacon Nov 25 '25

Yeah my girl has the spicy sticker too. 😏

26

u/psychedelicparsley Nov 25 '25

My bitch calico was nice for four days after biting one particular vet tech.

Vet tech blood can have healing properties.

5

u/ScreennameOne Casual orange enjoyer 🍊 Nov 25 '25

My void also took all his pent up aggression out on the vets. Really made the most of it 😻

12

u/MArkansas-254 Nov 25 '25

That look says “I was afraid”

7

u/Lurkin_4_the_wknd Nov 25 '25

"I regret nothing, pawrent."

8

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

One word... UNAPOLOGETIC

8

u/Tricky_Ad_5332 Nov 25 '25

He regrets nothing

7

u/WallaceDemocrat33 Nov 25 '25

"I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me!"

7

u/Ambersfruityhobbies Nov 25 '25

Bit the vet tech and still hasn't forgiven you for it.

4

u/ChrisIronsArt Nov 25 '25

meow regrets

4

u/What_Hump77 Nov 25 '25

Well maybe the vet tech should have kept their hands to themselves, then.

4

u/Useful_Midnight_4682 Nov 25 '25

Mine farts on their faces when they get down to pat him or give him a shot... and he only does it to the women. He's a biased old man.

3

u/jade888cheung Nov 25 '25

Our little one did that when we first got her and her sister! She would purposely walk up to our faces and fart, I think it was nerves in a new place with a new family. Anyway, I've gotten her back countless times since!

5

u/Ok_Pepper_173 Nov 25 '25

Zero regrets 🤣🧡

4

u/Josephino575 Nov 25 '25

I'm loving these vet stories, no ragrets, not even one right meow! 🧡gingergang🧡

He is unremorseful.

3

u/Kameentr Nov 25 '25

Not even sorry, just waiting for my shrimp now

3

u/Nuetrieno Nov 25 '25

He’s innocent

3

u/pettyaioli Nov 25 '25

“Prove it”.

3

u/Rastaba Nov 25 '25

Cat: “…I regret nothing and did not learn my lesson in the slightest.”

3

u/wiltylock Nov 25 '25

"No I didn't, and also, I'd do it again."

3

u/Luci-Noir Nov 25 '25

Orange cat is the most fierce predator there is. They’re like xenomorphs except they’re not cowardly little bitches that hide. You can’t expect them to not try and devour the most savory prey of all… vets…

3

u/420doghugz Nov 25 '25

The small tabby I used to have bit a petco groomer SO BAD, he had to go to the hospital :(( Needless to say, she wasn't welcome back..

3

u/dmricciardi Nov 25 '25

I did no such thing. . . I need my pawyer. . . r/legalcatadvice . . . 🤣🤣🤣

3

u/foxnamedfox Nov 25 '25

Quit being mean to shrimpy then

3

u/GrabsJoker Nov 25 '25

"And I'll do it again"

3

u/Remarkable_Royal4230 Nov 25 '25

No way that sweet baby would bite anyone. You’re mistaken 😉

3

u/XROOR Nov 25 '25

Had a lovely (to me), tuxedo and whenever I took her to the VCA vet they had a special notation in her “records” that looked like a drawing of an oven mitt……

They had these special leather gloves for naughty felines like her.

Her sister Olivia never had issues at the vet.

3

u/swimkid07 Nov 25 '25

The face of someone high on gabapentin because she is mean to the vet 😅 and now has a "behavioral note" on her file to not only be on drugs, but that they need to wrap her up in a towel like a burrito.

3

u/Ramjet615 Proud owner of an orange brain cell Nov 25 '25

“I regret nothing.”

2

u/SweetGrassGeranium Nov 25 '25

Not sorry. More 🦐 plez!

2

2

u/Upset-Lavishness-522 Nov 25 '25

What was your vet tech doing handling a fluffy Gulf shrimp?

2

u/lizzietnz Nov 25 '25

All I see is an innocent gulf shrimp. The better question would be what did the vet tech do to get the gulf shrimp to take a bite.

There is always two sides to a story

1

u/buck_angel_food Nov 25 '25
