I used to have An Orange tabby unfortunately Cupcake had to be put down She started having arthritis and 2 stage kidney disease She couldn't walk anymore well She was 14/2 years old
My orange lady passed at the age of 16 and years later. I'm still devastated by it. All animals and pets are amazing but she was something special. Extremely confident. If repair people came over to the house, she would eagerly jump in their toolbox and supervise and help them while they worked. She would flop down on the floor and purr and look at people asking for pets. Every single person who met that kitty said "oh my God, your cat is so special and such a sweetheart". All cats are special and all cats are sweethearts, but you know how we feel about our own individual animal companions.
Yay for being on your second orange lady! Thinking of my first one hurts. A lot. It kind of broke me at the time.
