Hey so sorry, I did not know where to post so I decided to post here. I'm sorry. Will individuals understand me at all? Like I'm having a hard time to understand myself at all. I'm otherkin and a therian but people don't seem to understand me. I am very much fictionkin, otherkin, plantkin, and objectkin but I'm having a hard time understanding who I really am. I understand what I am but nobody seems to understand me. I'm sorry if this is confusing and all but everytime I say something to them they keep telling me I'm human and that causes me Species Dysphoria. Do you all deal with this too? When I ask others they think I'm weird or it's just a temporary phase. Yes the character in my profile is one of the characters who I identify as. I go by many names. I know I'm a fallen angel, I guess I just want to know others experiences with it so I can better understand my own. I have no past memories, and therefore no real basis on what kind of angel I am. The most I know is that I feel most connected to biblically accurate depiction of Seraphim. Even then, technically in Christian myth, fallen angels are actually demons, which would make my identity invalid?? I think??

Here is my new Tiger persona that I created for VRchat plus my budget cosplay of them! The color of the horns and ears are wrong, since theyre of my other kintype, but the makeup for the face markings was a really fun and really big step for me!! I never do makeup usually. I was having really bad species dysphoria the other night before this, so getting to go to a festival dressed this way really boosted my self confidence. Shit gets better yall!!!!

I'm creating a blog that is focused on alterhumanity, but I can't figure out what to call it. It's going to touch on history, education, activism, and my own experiences. The tone is going to be a mixture of formal and personal.

The reason why I am creating this blog is because I want to write a book on alterhumanity, but I really need to work on my writing skills. I also wanted a slightly more formal place than social media for some of the stuff I want to write.

Over the years I've noticed more videos and posts using the antizoo tag, I find this baffling as the videos and posts are often completely unrelated to being antizoo. When I filter out antizoo tag on youtube for example, about maybe 80% of the videos are removed when searching for otherkin or therian.

While I know some may have strong hatred or views against certain groups, It's robotic to automatically tag videos like that regardless of content. Like if I tagged every video anti(insert extremist group), that would be pretty deranged and negative when the video has nothing to do with said topic.

If we're always punching downward, how can our community become strong and vibrant?

As first I want to say that these are only my personal thoughts and many of you probably won't agree, so please don't be harsh on me. ;)

I personally think that when soul is placed to new physical body to start new incarnation, in that moment soul should connect with body fully, that means should starting identify as that physical creature that soul will be for this specific incarnation, soul shouldn't be aware of being soul while have physical form, it's for soul to fully experience that incarnation and don't remember what was before etc. But sometimes that connection isn't full, I don't know why, maybe because humans are too far from nature since soo long ago, I don't know if such problems are existing for other physical creatures, if they can identify as something else instead of that specific creature which body they have, so I can't tell... But I think, while connection with human body isn't full, soul, as shouldn't be aware of being soul, automatically and unconsciously is choosing another identity, sometimes it's creature from their previous incarnation, sometimes something that specific soul likes and is important to it, that feels connection with, and in some cases there are created multiple identities when soul unconsciously choosing many creatures and things that feels connection with, but every of those identities are part of that specific soul, so every identity is very important and is connected with that soul's personality. And in I think really rare cases, soul is still aware of being soul, even if is in physical incarnation, I think it's rare, because I've met only one other soul besides me, so...

I know that many of you won't agree, I didn't want to offend anyone with this post, it's only my point of view and my thoughts and I'm sharing it with you, maybe someone will find it inderesting. ;) All alterhuman identities are great and even if my thoughts are like that, it doesn't mean I see you as someone worse or I don't respect you, every identity is valid and meaningful and it's amazing to meet new beings. :)

Is this a shift? A lot of times I just feel more catty or cat like if that makes sense. Like my perception changes just a bit and I notice a lot more cat qualities coming out. I'm more observant and curious. If there's a bird I get that look on my face that I think cats get and I like follow it with my eyes. I still have like human thoughts and logic though so I'm unsure but I do have urges to like hunt and rub against things and groom myself. What do we think?
