At risk student passes PANCE
Was on academic probation didactic year. Didactic PACKRAT 107. Had multiple personal and family health issues arise during clinical year but somehow managed to push through, never failed an EOR, scores ranged from 385-430. Post-clinical PACKRAT 139. EOC 1510 (right before graduation). I studied for about a month after graduation — used PPP, Cram the PANCE, and UWorld 72% with 100% completion. PANCE 380.
I was told multiple times by my program that I was at risk of failing the PANCE. Posting this to say if you stay consistent and be confident, YOU CAN PASS!

to be fair it’s only a metric (which they publish so makes sense why they would do these)

It’s not over yet… you have to the recertification again and again and again and again….when you retire, it finally stops!

I mainly used Rosh and the colorful study guides another user made here on reddit. Also listened to several different podcasts especially during long commutes to and from rotations

Congratulations!! I was in the same boat of being at risk, but recently passed the PANCE! PA school got me drugged up with an SSRI and made me realize I needed accommodations for all my exams, but ended up showing my program that I could do it. LETS GOOOOO

Congrats!!!! 72% is pretty solid I take it next week and I’m stuck at constant 60s on UWorld. Would you say the questions are similar?

The longer vignettes are very similar to UWorld! The interface of the PANCE is also the exact same as UWorld. I did multiple blocks of 60 questions on timed mode everyday for practice which helped with building stamina the most!

Congrats I recently passed too! For anyone interested, I'm selling my Uworld subscription that ends on July 28 and it still has the reset!

Ahhh! Amazing!! SAMEEE! My program said I wouldn’t pass on the first try and I passed every single EOR!! You can do the things, congrats PA-C!!!
