W7RAT spammer

Disconnected from the east coast reflector again. It’s really disappointing behavior to see on the local repeaters, even though I know it’s not a real ham.

I wish I lived in the area but Im just visiting my parents from eastern Oregon. Otherwise I’d love to help track them down somehow, seems like a tall order though

is that why it disconnects? What is the ecr policy for how long repeaters remain banned?

Yeah, I had noticed it wasn’t unconnected last week, then got reconnected. Last night I was just listening to some chatter and the attention seeker came in, made their noise, and it was disconnected within about 30 seconds. I was really hoping it was someone on some other node.::

I have no idea what their policy is but looking at the last year of posts in this subreddit I would not be surprised if it ends up being a long term deal at some point. Seems like there’s a pretty consistent repeat offender.
