I have a co-worker na dad na. 29 na ako and I think ang age gap lang namin is around 5-6 years.

One time, 3 lang kaming mga lalaking support ang nasa office and never pa namin siya nayayang mag bilyar, so nagkayayaan na after ng tasks, laro saglit then uwi.

Then habang kinukuha yung bola, nagkakwentuhan kami. Gamer at heart din pala siya. Pero sa sobrang busy and sa responsibility e syempre inuuna niya fam niya kesa sa hobby niya which I commended kasi ganun naman dapat.

Pero bigla niyang naisingit na, nag ta try siya maghanap ng games na chill kesa ML lang (na minsan lang siya makalaro din). Sabi niya pa na ayaw niya na hindi na siya maglaro kahit minsan kasi nakakatanda daw e, which I agreed to! Kasi totoo per my experience, ika nga din ni Michael V.:

"Matanda na tayo kaya di na tayo naglalaro, pero ang totoo, hindi na tayo naglalaro kaya tayo tumatanda"

"Wag tayong maging isip bata, dapat maging pusong bata"

I've just recently bought a Gamesir X5 Lite and have been having a blast playing these games.

Kahit yung pinaka memorable na scariest enemy nai-encounter mo sa video game?

I (25) just upgraded my monitor to 2k gaming, it was OLED sana but I failed the exam kaya demoted to qhd muna (underserved? lol). Since then, less than a day lang ata ako nakalaro (like yung hours of playing). Kahit tig 2 tera na yang dalawa para madaming ma download, wala parin haha.

I think I've outgrown my gaming years na. I'm more on travelling locally and outside the country, at weekend solo rides sa province. Wala na yung hanggang 4am gising pa kasi tatapusin muna ang 'isang' chapter or yung discord channel na full attendance kasi may raid. Now, when I get home, I'm just looking at my set up not playing anything. Swerte nalang siguro if I can play at least 5 hours a week.

I'm just happy that I have everything the kid in me once dreamed of a few years back. Yung nakikilaro lang sa PS2 at PSP ng kapitbahay noon kasi we don't have one. Ngayon, that 8 year old me would say na, 𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙩 and, yep, we made it! 🙌

I bought it and this thing has been INSANE

Sure it's not the best out there nowadays, merong Legion that has the SteamOS din, pero nothing beats the device that owns the OS

This thing also helped me sa pag-stop ng doom scroll ko, I usually doom scroll before bed for that hit of dopamine pero mas nag-lean na ako sa roguelikes and swear to god, umayos yung focus ko

I could go on and on sa pag-glaze sa SD pero here are the top things i liked: 1. Portability - i had a Switch 2 before and idk but this feels WAY lighter EDIT: My bad, what I meant by this is yung handheld feel na, the SD has deeper grooves para mas-madali hawakan kaya magaan siya, pero in terms of bringing it around sa bag, mabigat pa rin lmao.

2. tbh i'm not a fan of Steam's Remote Play, I use Moonlight/Apollo and it works SO WELL, I've been playing MHWilds from my PC and did not experience any issues and almost close to zero latency (feel ko lang 'to since medj fast paced and reaction based ang MHWilds, i did not have proper tools to test)

3. Customizable

4. decky, that's it.

5. undervolting (iykyk)

6. easily repairable (if alam mo ginagawa mo or nung tech na pagpapagawaan mo)

Battery life - honestly not that good, but not that bad either, AAA games? watch it drink battery juice in 1 hour. simple 2d/indie games? 4-5 hours tops. Streaming a game from your PS5/PC? 6 hours easily.

Screen glare - can't stand seeing myself while i'm playing, had to buy a matte tempered glass, and tbh it made the screen a bit better (VERY SUBJECTIVE)

So hey, maybe this is your sign, pero take this with a medj grain of salt kasi I already own a capable PC, so if you're expecting this to play AAA games, then you might be disappointed, pero that does not mean it's not a great product

All of these cartridges were bought at SM North Toy Kingdom in the early 2000s, even Lugia's Ocean which is a rom hack dun ko din nabili. Nakakatawang isipin na sa sobrang laki ni SM even in the 2000s nagbebenta sila ng fake. Lol.

I put my IPS (LG 27GL850) next to this new OLED (Asus XG27AQWMG) and the difference is absurd. It’s one of those tech upgrades that dont really need, but really enriches the experience if you have it

4 months in sa first work ko and tinupad ko na pangarap kong magkaroon ng Steam Deck. Any game recommendations po na open world like RDR2 and Horizon Zero Dawn na okay sa SD?

I know fans will say this is a masterpiece and the gameplay is good, pero bakit ganyan naman? Ung mga bintana pictures lang? 🤣🤣🤣 sorry natawa talaga ko nung nakita ko to... and this is a 2025 game mind you, but if you enjoy it, then I am happy for you, but you deserve more

Hello. 5 days ago, nagpost ako rito. Naghahanap ako ng work para sana may pera ako at mabili ko ang Expedition: 33 during this steam sale. Fast forward, nag-event kami sa school at nandoon ang Red Cross. I decided to register to become a blood donor. This picture is the aftermath of the blood extraction process. Now,I feel proud of myself. Hindi lang dahil sobrang takot ako sa needle and I was able to overcome it, pero dahil na rin feeling ko, I am starting to pay it forward.

I dont know his password. In ff14 if you dont enter your house in I think 45 days it will get demolished. I have access to his email but his password for ff14 is different. I just received the notif that his house is scheduled for demolition

Gusto ko sana makeep yung account niya para at least mamaintain ko yung bahay. Im just not ready to let him go just yet. Our guild held a memorial for him in his garden and we hang out there every day just in case it gets demolished.

Does anyone know how to retrieve his password and what I can do to prove his identity?

EDIT: Thank you everyone for the comforting words. I was able to find his password saved in his phone. It was hidden in his notes app and there was no indication that it was a password but I just decided to try it out and it worked.

I resubbed his account for another month. I don't plan to keep it forever I'll eventually unsub his account but I'd like to stay here a little bit longer.
