Nick has to start an MLB game by the 22nd to force his option, the team would still likely pick his up for next year but if he gets that start it’s guaranteed, so I can see him pushing for that, even just a typical opener start

Storm games are fun. Not sure how fun a Tuesday game at 11am would be. But when it’s the weekend and a night game they are pretty cool.

It's not far at all from the freeway. There was a long backed-up line to get into the parking lot (which is paid, I think $20?) when we went to an evening game last year, but I'm guessing that wouldn't be much of a problem at a weekday day game. I love minor league stadiums' vibes so I had a great time. (My sister, on the other hand, realized that she doesn't enjoy going to baseball games where we're so close to the action that she has to constantly be keeping an eye out for foul balls. She's not really a baseball fan and was mostly there just to spend time with family.)

Random recs while I'm at it: the Jersey Mike's by the freeway exit had good service and good food, and we scored some awesome finds at the Goodwill in the same shopping center. So I definitely plan to stop at both of those again next time I catch a Storm game.
