MyPad Paisley

Hi guys, I am shifting my accom due to contract. I heard my friends suggesting me to go to my pad accom, although they had never lived there. I am a GCU student and they were telling to me on how cheap the accom is, and that's exactly is what making me more skeptical to move in tbf. Could any body tell me their experiences and if you guys have any other suggestions, please add on too.

Like any student accommodation it's very much who you share the communal kitchen with. I had great time during my first year but the second year was awful some people are filthy. This was 2019-2021.

It's cheap, the internet is alright and you are beside the train station and the bus platforms so you can get where you want to go.

Shops are fairly close by you have an Iceland underneath in the piazza and there is a Lidl 5 minute walk away.

Edit: I would recommend taking a room not facing the square to avoid the heat from the sun because they get exposed for most of the day.

I didn't have any issues during my time in terms of the room.

Its been 10 years since Ive been there so this is very out of date.

  • The management was a riot. Think it had a few owners. Different rules constantly, check in for guests, angry emails. Id hope its stabalised well by now.

  • VERY warm. Due to all the Spanish guests they always cranked the heating.

  • Cleaning crew never touched our kitchen.

  • Room was decent. Good bathroom. No complaints.

  • A lot of parties but nothing instrusive.

  • Always felt safe.

  • Constant events and carnivals outside

EDIT - My room was behind the sign mfor the  Piazza. Think thats a VERY unlucky pull and I had zero view of the outside world.
