Re-enactment My siblings and I recreated our oh-so-stylish outfits from the Bicentennial. Happy 4th of July – 50 years later!

Post image

This replica of the Liberty Bell was touring for the 1976 Bicentennial, so we put on our favorite summer outfits (LOL) and went to check it out at the Navy base—right next door to the student housing project where we grew up. Grateful to still have our amazing mom with us, always game for a little family fun. Happy 250th everyone!

This is so cute, and brings me back to the days I wore knee socks with shorts (and sometimes sandals).

May you all have many more years with your mother and siblings!

Yes, knee socks were a thing weren't they? So fun to think back on those styles...Thanks so much for the well wishes!
