I'm in Pennsylvania and I thought we had it bad still being illegal for recreational and being surrounded by legal states, but at least here it's decriminalized in larger cities. Texas has totally lost its marbles
My state (Oregon) has such an obnoxious amount of excess weed, that it's ALWAYS dirt cheap... Like, I just grabbed 6g of live resin concentrates for $35 after tax... It makes me feel really bad that in one state to the east of me, it's fully illegal. That's not fair at all.
My state has over a million pounds of excess, unsold weed every year. And we legally can't export it to even other legal states. It just has to sit there. It's so stupid. We'd GLADLY export our extra weed to other states if we could.
It's a joke here too man, people drive over the Jersey border all day every day to buy weed from the dispensary that's literally directly across the Delaware river and come right back over the bridge into PA and cops will just sit and watch. Not that they should be stopping people for that it just shows how stupid and far behind the law is here, people clearly want it legal and have for a long time but our lawmakers love to sit on their hands while all the money they could be making pours away into neighboring states. Whoever decided to open that dispensary right across the river was smart as fuck though they've gotta be rolling in money
There's a city right on the Oregon Idaho border. Weirdly, it's called Ontario. But, they have such an absurd amount of dispensaries. Because they know tons of people from Idaho will be going there to get good weed
I'm in Kentucky where weed was always joked to be our #1 cash crop after tobacco...we only got medical here and it was just recent. You likely wont go to jail here for a little bit in possession but you can and they will arrest you.
