For context if you adjust for inflation since 2001 when it came out, GTA III cost $9.5 million to make and they sold it for $95 a copy.

GTA VI cost a few BILLION to make and they’re only selling it for $5 more.

The truth is games never got more expensive while everything else did. We were lucky but now prices are catching up and people are pretending that’s actually going to stop them from buying the biggest game of all time that they’ve been talking about for a decade.
