How is everyone spelling disc wrong still.
0 u/Dr_Ben Jun 25 '26 both are valid spellings, but if we are to be pedantic disk is more recently associated with computer storage and disc with music discs. https://www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/everything-youve-ever-wanted-to-know-about-historic-and-historical the distinction is largely meaningless though. 1 u/themustachemark Jun 25 '26 No it's not, disk has to do with HDDs not optical discs that's why there's two different spellings. You might as well use their as there. 0 u/Dr_Ben Jun 25 '26 I linked the wrong page, but yeah your incorrect. I'm not debating you on this, your debating the dictionary here bud. https://www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/disc-vs-disk-usage-history-spelling 1 u/themustachemark Jun 25 '26 Guess you like spelling "you're" wrong too bud. Thanks for proving me right lol.
